Winter is almost here
This is a good time to finalize any weeding and mulch to discourage weeds. Mulch is also good for covering the areas in the yard that get muddy. Other projects could include checking and repairing drainage issues- or clearing rain gutters - installing some low voltage lighting can bring some beauty to your garden at night time. Fall is the best time for planting Tulips and Daffodils. And Winter is the time to prune roses, Maples, as well as many other trees and perennials. During the rainy season lawns can be reseeded and fertilized.

There are a number of ways to minimize water waste in your garden.
- Mulch - Reduces weeds and stops run-off. During the warmer months the mulch will retain moisture in the soil.
- Lighting - Shed some light on your garden during the longer nights of Winter.
- Plantings - get new plants in the ground before the rainy season, to help get plants established.
- Bulb - Tulips and Daffodils.
