This is a good time to finalize any weeding and mulch to discourage weeds. Mulch is also good for maintaining moisture during the dry season. Other projects could include checking and repairing irrigation - installing some low voltage lighting can bring some beauty to your garden at night time. Spring is the best time for planting Gladiolas and Dahlia's. And late Summer is the time to prune Citrus, as well as many other trees and perennials.
